Job Title – Accounts Assistant 
Location: Carlow 
Salary: €40K – €45K DOE

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced  Accounts Assistant   to join an established Building Contractor in Carlow.

What you need to do:
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable using ABM Accounting System 
• Raise client invoices and match purchase orders
• Contribute to month-end and annual financial reports
• Bank, credit card and petty cash reconciliations and posting
• Ad hoc duties to be performed as and when required
• Maintain records and assist with inventory tracking
• Support cross-functional teams with general admin tasks

What you need to have 
• 3–5 years’ experience in a finance or admin role (or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communicator and team player
• Willingness to learn and grow across departments
• Use of ABM would be an advantage
• Qualified Accounting Technician/part-qualified Accountant desirable but not essential
• Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Excel
• Key attributes also necessary include efficient work methods, working both as part of a team and on own initiative and good interpersonal skills
