Role: Industrial Worker Workshop Environment
Location: Killarney, County Kerry
BSS are currently looking for Industrial Workers for an upcoming project in Killarney, County Kerry.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Industrial Worker your main responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and finish steel components to production standards
- Operate cleaning and surface preparation equipment including shot blasting machinery
- Assemble, secure, and package steel items for dispatch
- Grinding, cleaning, and preparing steel materials
- Support painting and coating processes when required
- Carry out routine housekeeping and upkeep of workshop and yard areas
- Inspect completed tasks to ensure quality and accuracy before completion
- Handle and transport materials safely around the facility
- Organise and prepare orders for loading and delivery
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to maintain workflow efficiency
- Assist across other operational areas as needed
- Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organisation throughout all tasks
Requirements:
- Valid Manual Handling
- Must have own tools
- Must be able to make measurements with accuracy and operate power and hand tools
