Job Description:
Position: Vacuum Excavator Driver
Location: Dublin West, Co Dublin
BSS is looking for a Vacuum Excavator (Vac-Ex) Driver in Dublin West, Co. Dublin for an upcoming long-term project.
Responsibilities:
- Operate vacuum excavation vehicles and associated equipment safely and efficiently.
- Carry out non-destructive excavation around underground utilities.
- Read and interpret utility drawings and site plans.
- Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections.
- Complete required paperwork and job records.
- Work in accordance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Liaise with supervisors, clients, and other site personnel.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist with traffic management and general site duties when required.
Requirements:
- Valid full category C driving license
- Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) card
- Safe Pass & Manual Handling certification would be preferable
- Previous experience as a driver, ideally in a similar role
