About the Company
Our client is a specialist Irish contractor delivering demolition, piling, basement construction and reinforced concrete frame projects across Leinster, typically valued between 1m and 5m.
The Role
Lead the successful delivery of two concurrent structural concrete and civils projects commencing in August.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for project delivery.
- Manage programme, quality, safety and budget.
- Coordinate site teams and subcontractors.
- Recuit and manage Foreman/Site manager on each Project
- Attend client meetings and manage stakeholders.
- Work closely with the commercial team.
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar.
- 5+ years Project Management experience.
- Background in civils, RC frame, piling or basement construction.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Full driving licence.

Overview
BSS is recruiting a Project Manager on behalf of a well-established building contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects throughout Leinster.
The successful candidate will initially be responsible for the delivery of a large-scale fit-out and refurbishment project within a food processing facility, managing the project from inception through to completion. Reporting to the Contracts Manager and Company Director, this role offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor with strong long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
- Develop and manage project programmes to ensure delivery to agreed timelines.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
- Coordinate construction activities, subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams.
- Manage technical submittals, RFIs, procurement schedules, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with BCAR requirements, building regulations, and project specifications.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
- Chair and attend project progress meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Lead site coordination meetings and ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders.
- Monitor labour resources, materials, and project costs to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Prepare and issue weekly progress reports and project updates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project teams.
- Promote a culture of quality, safety, and customer service excellence across all project activities.
Requirements
- Degree or Higher Diploma in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Project Manager role within construction, fit-out, or refurbishment projects.
- Strong understanding of M&E coordination and installation management.
- Previous experience delivering commercial, industrial, fit-out, or refurbishment projects.
- BCAR experience would be a distinct advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and project reporting systems.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects to demanding deadlines.
- Full clean driving licence.
