Our client is a leading precast and concrete frame contractor working across Dublin. They are hiring an experienced Site Manager / Foreman to take day-to-day charge of the frame on site, leading the crews and keeping the works on programme. There is a strong pipeline of work behind the role and clear scope to progress as the business grows.

Responsibilities

  • Take day-to-day charge of the site, directing the workforce and setting the pace to keep the frame on programme
  • Organise, allocate and supervise directly employed operatives and subcontractors, making sure the right crews and resources are in place each day
  • Plan and sequence pour cycles, crane lifts, deliveries and setting-out, in coordination with the Site Engineer and Project Manager
  • Run daily briefings and toolbox talks so every operative understands the task, the method and the risks
  • Drive health, safety and environmental standards on the ground, ensuring RAMS, permits and site rules are followed at all times
  • Monitor workmanship and quality, checking line, level and finish, and correcting issues before they become re-work
  • Coordinate deliveries, plant, materials and lifting operations to keep the frame moving safely
  • Liaise with the Main Contractor, subcontractors and site stakeholders, resolving issues quickly and professionally
  • Maintain daily site records, including diaries, labour and plant returns, dockets and progress against programme
  • Uphold high standards of housekeeping, welfare and site presentation

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Foreman on RC or precast concrete frame projects
  • Strong knowledge of concrete frame construction, including setting-out, formwork, steel fixing, pouring and precast erection
  • Current Safe Pass and Manual Handling; SLG / SSG (Site/Safety Supervisor) and First Aid an advantage
  • Able to read and work from construction drawings and programmes
  • Sound understanding of health and safety legislation, RAMS and permit systems
  • Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills, with the ability to motivate crews and hit targets
  • Hands-on, quality-focused approach with a right first time mindset
