The Role
A leading specialist contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in New Ross. This is an excellent opportunity for a QS with 25 years experience looking to develop within a busy project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project costs from start to final account.
- Prepare valuations, variations and subcontract accounts.
- Support procurement and commercial reporting.
- Liaise with project teams and clients.
Requirements
- 25 years Quantity Surveying experience.
- Construction qualification.
- Strong commercial and communication skills.
- Full driving licence preferred.

Location: Dublin (Dublin Airport & Trinity College Projects)
Salary: 60,000 – 75,000 DOE + Package
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
About the Company
Our client is a well-established Irish specialist contractor delivering demolition, basement construction, piling, reinforced concrete and structural frame projects throughout Leinster. Typical project values range from 1 million to 5 million.
This role is based in Drogheda office with attendance at site as needed.
Hybrid working option available once onboarded fully in the role.
The Role
An Intermediate Quantity Surveyor is required to manage the commercial aspects of two live projects located at Dublin Airport and Trinity College.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial delivery of two live construction projects.
- Prepare subcontract packages and procure specialist subcontractors.
- Measure and value completed works.
- Prepare interim valuations and applications for payment.
- Manage variations, change orders and final accounts.
- Prepare cost reports and forecasts.
- Work closely with Project Managers and site teams.
- Assist with procurement and supplier negotiations.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
- 35 years post-graduate experience.
- Experience on civils, structural concrete, RC frame or specialist subcontracting projects.
- Strong commercial awareness and communication skills.
- Full driving licence.
