PROJECT MANAGER
Location: North Monastery, Cork City
Salary: 90,000 – 105,000
Project: Public-sector school project in Cork City.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading
Irish main contractor on a public-sector school project in Cork City.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the site team and take responsibility for day-to-day project delivery.
Manage programme, subcontractors, resources, quality and health & safety.
Coordinate with design teams, consultants, client representatives and the commercial
team.
Monitor progress against programme and implement corrective action where required.
Manage project meetings, reporting and key construction milestones.
Ensure works are delivered to specification and required quality standards.
Drive completion, commissioning, handover and close-out requirements.
Requirements
Proven Project Manager experience with a main contractor.
Public-sector construction experience would be advantageous, but strong candidates from
other sectors will be considered.
Strong construction management, programming and subcontractor coordination skills.
Excellent leadership and stakeholder-management ability.
Relevant construction, engineering or related third-level qualification preferred.
The Offer
A competitive package is available for the successful candidate, with salary guidance of
90,000 – 105,000 depending on experience. This is an opportunity to join a well-

Start – End of Sept
Project: Large residential development comprising approximately 195 apartments across
three blocks, reinforced concrete frame.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading
Irish main contractor on a significant residential development in North Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project from construction
through to completion.
Manage site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to programme, quality and safety
requirements.
Coordinate construction activities, design information and procurement requirements.
Monitor programme, progress, resources and key project milestones.
Chair and attend project, subcontractor and design coordination meetings.
Work closely with the commercial team to control costs, variations and project risk.
Maintain strong client, consultant and stakeholder relationships.
Ensure the highest standards of health & safety, quality and site management.
Requirements
Proven Project Manager experience with an established main contractor.
Strong experience delivering large residential or apartment projects; RC frame experience
is highly desirable.
Excellent knowledge of construction sequencing, programming and subcontractor
management.
Strong leadership, communication and commercial awareness.
Relevant construction, engineering or related third-level qualification preferred.
