Building Staff Solutions (BSS) is currently recruiting a Junior Project Manager for a large and established commercial plastering contractor operating across the Greater Dublin Area.
This is a dynamic, site-focused role offering exposure to more than 30 live projects, primarily large-scale residential and commercial developments. A company vehicle is provided.
The Role
The Junior Project Manager will travel between live sites, checking quality, progress and completed works, verifying measurements and acting as a key link between the site teams and the office. The role offers excellent variety and a strong opportunity to develop into a more senior Project Management position.
Key Responsibilities
Visit live projects throughout the Greater Dublin Area.
Carry out QA/QC inspections and ensure plastering works meet the required quality standards.
Check progress and completed works on site.
Take, check and verify site measurements.
Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers and site teams.
Communicate progress, measurements, issues and required actions back to the office.
Assist with resolving site queries and coordinating works.
Help ensure multiple live projects are progressing efficiently and to programme.
Requirements
Construction-related qualification and/or relevant site experience.
Good understanding of construction drawings and basic measurement.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Good attention to detail with a particular focus on quality.
Confident liaising with site management and construction teams.
Ability to manage priorities across a busy portfolio of projects.
Proactive, energetic and comfortable working independently.
Full clean driving licence.
Desirable Experience
Previous experience in plastering, drylining, fit-out, finishing trades or a similar specialist subcontracting environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
