Our client is an established Irish civil engineering and groundworks contractor delivering residential and commercial projects for developers and main contractors across Dublin and Leinster. They are recruiting a Senior Site Manager to run deep civils packages on residential developments in South Dublin, covering the Dundrum to Shankill area.
Responsibilities
- Take day to day charge of civils works on site, directing operatives, plant and subcontractors
- Manage foundations, drainage, paths and external works through to completion
- Deliver the works to programme and flag delays early
- Take responsibility for health and safety on site, enforcing compliance daily
- Coordinate plant, materials and labour so the site has what it needs when required
- Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure works are built to drawings and specification
- Liaise with the main contractor or developers site team and design team
Requirements
- Proven Site Manager experience on civils or groundworks packages
- Residential deep civils experience, including foundations and drainage
- Able to read and work from construction drawings and specifications
- Good working knowledge of health and safety requirements on civils sites
- Valid Safe Pass and relevant site certifications
