Our client is a mid-tier main contractor delivering projects across commercial, education, healthcare, pharmaceutical and heritage sectors. They are recruiting a Site Engineer for a 55-bed apartment block in Limerick City, starting in November.
Responsibilities
- Set out the works, from substructure through to completion
- Establish and maintain site control, grids and levels
- Check works against drawings and specifications before and after each stage
- Produce as-builts and keep site records up to date
- Carry out quality inspections and support BCAR documentation
- Raise and track RFIs, and resolve technical queries with the design team
- Work with the Site Manager and subcontractors on sequencing and programme
Requirements
- Degree in civil or structural engineering, or equivalent
- Site Engineer experience with a main contractor
- Residential experience, ideally on apartment schemes
- Strong setting out skills: total station, GPS and level
- Valid Safe Pass and site certifications
- Available for a November start
