A growing mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to run a site from initiation to completion. This role reports directly to the Mechanical Operations Director.
Responsibilities
- Manage project delivery from pre-construction through to testing and commissioning
- Work with the client design team, main contractor, suppliers and subcontractors to deliver scope of works
- Attend site regularly to monitor quality, safety and procurement
- Manage the financial aspects of the project
- Review design and coordinate construction drawings
- Ensure works are completed to specification and safety standards
- Support the operations team on compliance with relevant standards
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Minimum 5 years experience in a contracting environment
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent IT and technical skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
