Structural Project Engineer needed for a leading civil & structural engineering consultancy. This is an office based role within our client’s Buildings Division at their Dublin location. The focus of this role will involve the design of building structures, planning applications, compliance requirements, and tender documents. You will also work closely with employees in our client’s other locations including Limerick and Cork.

The ideal candidate will hold a Degree in Civil Engineering and have at least 4 years of relevant experience. You must have a good understanding of current health & safety regulations and have experience in building design. You must also be a Chartered Engineer (or currently working towards Chartered Status) and be committed to Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

Job Description:

• Prepare preliminary design and detailed design of building structures.
• Prepare planning applications.
• Prepare compliance requirements.
• Prepare tender documents.
• Procure specialist surveys.
• Manage smaller scale projects.
• Monitor construction activities.
• Liaise with public and private clients.
• Supervise junior engineers, technicians and other site-based staff.
• Liaise with CAD Technicians and the Design Team to produce accurate drawings.
• Report to Technical Director.
• Follow our client’s ISO QMS procedures.
