Position: Block Layer
Location: Dublin City Centre, Co Dublin
BSS Building Staff Solutions is looking for a Block Layer in the Dublin City Centre, Co Dublin for a commercial project laying concrete blocks on flat.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lay concrete blocks on flat accurately and efficiently.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and site specifications.
- Set out work to line and level, ensuring a high-quality finish.
- Mix and use mortar to the correct consistency.
- Maintain productivity while meeting quality standards and project deadlines.
- Work safely in line with all site health and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with site managers, supervisors, and other trades.
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and free from hazards.
- Identify and report any issues that may affect quality or progress.
Requirements:
- Valid Safe Pass
- Valid Manual Handling
- Own tools
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail
