Job Description:
Position: Bricklayer / Blocklayer
Location: Santry Dublin, Co. Dublin
BSS are currently looking for a Bricklayer / Blocklayer for an upcoming project in Santry, Dublin, Co. Dublin.
Responsibilities Include:
- Laying 4-inch blocks on edge accurately and efficiently to specification
- Setting out work areas and ensuring levels, lines, and alignment are correct
- Mixing and applying mortar consistently for strong, clean finishes
- Rubbing up and finishing joints neatly to achieve a high-quality appearance
- Cutting and shaping blocks where required
- Reading and following drawings or site instructions
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working area on site
- Working alongside site supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines
- Checking completed work for quality and accuracy
- Loading/unloading materials and keeping tools and equipment in good condition
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a brick layer / block layer in the construction industry
- Valid Safe Pass & Manual Handling certificate
