Our client is a Tier 1 main contractor delivering pharma, commercial and large residential projects. They are hiring a General Foreman based in Cork to run works on projects across Munster, as they build up their site teams for upcoming work in the region.
Responsibilities
- Supervise works on site day to day, reporting to the Site Manager
- Coordinate subcontractors and report on their progress and performance
- Make sure works are built to drawings, specification and quality standards
- Track progress against the programme and flag delays early
- Coordinate interfaces with mechanical contractors
- Work with the EHS team to keep the site safe and compliant
- Lead and motivate the site team
Requirements
- Extensive Foreman experience with a main contractor
- Experience on large scale pharma, commercial or residential block projects
- Experience managing teams and a large number of subcontractors at once
- Able to deliver to tight deadlines
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Finishing experience an advantage: fit out, ceilings and partitions, internal joinery and fire doors, or a carpentry background
- Full clean driving licence and willing to travel across Munster
- Valid Safe Pass and relevant site certifications
