Salary: €60,000 – €70,000 DOE + Vehicle + Plus 6K annual bonus Paid (Bi annually 3k).

Overview

BSS are currently recruiting a Passive Fire Protection Contracts Manager on behalf of a leading specialist contractor delivering fire protection and life safety projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and data centre developments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual who can manage our projects, as well as coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure successful project delivery.

The Contracts Manager will be required to travel to different sites. Mainly based in Dublin but may be asked to travel outside Leinster from time-to time. Candidates must hold a full clean drivers licence.

You will join a growing business with a strong pipeline of projects throughout Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Meeting new and potential clients to promote the business and secure new work
• Attending pre-start meetings
• Supervise all junior Management/ Site supervisors
• Working with the customer to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Ensuring excellent productivity among all employees.
• Site measurement and assessment for replacement fire stopping
• Job planning programmes
• Managing suitably qualified labour
• Good working knowledge of fire proofing systems and installations.
• Complying with the companys health and safety policy/procedures
• Undertaking comprehensive passive fire installation inspections
• Monitor, implement and participate in all performance improvements and ensure these are initiatives implemented in line with best practices and current legislation
• Quality control of all installations
• The ability to monitor our recording software to assist managers in the day to day running of their jobs
• Ensure processes and procedures are being adhered to or implemented

Requirements

• Strong knowledge in the Construction industry is essential .
• Technical knowledge of fire prevention products and their installation .
• Previous management experience is essential .
• Computer literate in all Microsoft office applications
• Full Clean Drivers Licence

Desirable

• FIRAS, IFC, BM TRADA or equivalent fire protection training.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of QA/QC and certification processes.
• Experience using digital snagging and reporting platforms.
