Project Manager – Power Infrastructure & Civil Engineering

Salary: €80,000 – €100,000 + package (guide depending on ESB experience)

Our client, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee power infrastructure projects across Dublin and surrounding regions. The successful candidate will manage overhead line, civils, and cabling activities on ESB-related new build and maintenance contracts.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with strong utilities or power sector experience to join a leading infrastructure contractor delivering critical works across Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of power infrastructure and utilities projects
- Manage overhead lines, cabling, and civils packages from planning through to completion
- Coordinate direct labour, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Ensure all works are completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Monitor project performance against programme and KPI targets
- Manage commercial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, Streetworks legislation, and HSEQ standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Drive a “Right First Time” culture across all project activities
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within power, utilities, or infrastructure sectors
- Strong knowledge of overhead line, civils, and cabling works
- Experience working on ESB / power network projects is essential
- ESB accreditation highly desirable
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational ability
- CDM trained
- IOSH / NEBOSH qualification advantageous
- Strong understanding of HSEQ compliance and operational delivery
- Civil Engineering background preferred.
