QA/QC Inspector – Roofing

Location: Midlands (Covering projects throughout the Midlands & West of Ireland)

Salary: €55,000–€65,000 Per Annum  DOE 

Job Type: Full-Time | Contract initially for 3 months

About the Company

BSS is recruiting on behalf of a leading roofing contractor delivering commercial and industrial roofing projects throughout Ireland. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to oversee quality standards across multiple live projects.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure all roofing works are completed in accordance with the companys QA/QC procedures, client specifications and manufacturers installation requirements.

This is a site-based role covering projects throughout the Midlands and West of Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out regular QA/QC inspections on live projects.

  • Monitor roofing installations to ensure compliance with company quality standards.

  • Complete inspection reports and maintain QA/QC documentation.

  • Identify defects, manage snag lists and ensure timely close-out.

  • Attend site meetings and liaise with Site Managers, Contracts Managers and clients.

  • Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and manufacturers recommendations.

  • Promote a strong quality culture across all projects.

Requirements

  • Previous QA/QC, Site Management or Roofing Supervisory experience.

  • Roofing, cladding or building envelope experience is highly desirable.

  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • Full clean driving licence.

  • Safe Pass.
