Junior Quantity Surveyor 
Location Ashbourne Co Meath 
Salary €40K – €55K DOE

Our client is an established Civils & Utilities  Contractor based in Meath and is looking for a Quantity Surveyor with at least  1 years experience to join their team. You will be working with and reporting to an experienced Senior QS.
This is an office based role with sites in the Dublin area .

• Typically, 1 +  years’ post-graduation Construction experience.

The role is office based in either Limerick or Athlone  Client is working on a range of  Civil Engineering, Enabling works & Groundworks projects.

What you need for this Job
• Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management.
• 2 – 4+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role on construction projects with a building/Civil Engineering  contractor.
• Civils experience an advantage
• Strong time management skills
• Strong understanding of the construction industry and working on site
• Collaborative mindset and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
• Eligibility to work in Ireland/EU
• Full driving license

Key Responsibilities in conjunction with Senior QS
• Managing the commercial aspects of multiple live projects
• Managing purchasing costs and placing orders with suppliers
• Preparing and submitting applications for payment
• Negotiating and agreeing project variations
• Cashflow forecasting and monitoring
