Quantity Surveyor 
Salary €50K – €75K DOE 
Location Midlands or Limerick   
Civils & Building Contractor

Our client is looking to recruit a new Quantity Surveyor for their expanding business to work with  an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor & Commercial team . The role is office based in either Limerick or Athlone  Client is working on a range of  Civil Engineering, Enabling works & Groundworks projects.

What you need for this Job
• Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management.
• 2 – 4+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role on construction projects with a building/Civil Engineering  contractor.
• Civils experience an advantage
• Strong time management skills
• Strong understanding of the construction industry and working on site
• Collaborative mindset and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
• Eligibility to work in Ireland/EU
• Full driving license

Key Responsibilities in conjunction with Senior QS
• Managing the commercial aspects of multiple live projects
• Managing purchasing costs and placing orders with suppliers
• Preparing and submitting applications for payment
• Negotiating and agreeing project variations
• Cashflow forecasting and monitoring
• Contract management

Our client is looking to recruit a new Quantity Surveyor for their expanding business to work with  an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor. The role is office based in Drogheda (hybrid available after settling in)  with travel to Sites in Dublin as required. Client is working on a range of Commercial and Industrial Projects with blue chip clients.

What you need for this Job

• 4+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role on construction projects with a building contractor.
• Civils experience an advantage
• Strong time management skills
• Strong understanding of the construction industry and working on site
