Senior Site Manager

Salary €80K – €90K pa. plus package
Building Staff Solutions (BSS) are seeking applications for the position of Senior Site Manager for our client, a Building Contractor specialising in live environments across Heritage, Education and Healthcare Projects in the Greater Dublin area.
Role brief
- Take full control of site operations – labour, subcontractors, logistics and sequencing
- Deliver projects to programme and budget, and explain when that’s at risk
- Drive quality and safety as non-negotiables
- Identify problems early and push solutions back to the commercial and technical teams
- Run meetings, report honestly, and keep momentum on site
- Onboard and manage subcontractors to contractors standards
- Maintain site records that stand up to audits
- Lead crews properly – set the tone, deal with underperformance, build a strong culture
- Report to Project Manager
Experience required
- 5+ years in site management on Irish construction projects
- Track record of delivering work properly
- Strong grasp of Irish construction standards, safety and compliance
- Comfortable running multiple workstreams
- Decisive, organised, and not afraid of confrontation when standards slip
- Can communicate clearly with QS, PM, design teams and subcontractors
- Conservation experience desired
- Competent with Microsoft Office and MS Project
