Role: Site Manager – Cleanroom Construction

Our client is a long-established specialist contractor installing cleanrooms at pharmaceutical plants across Ireland, working under the market leader in cleanroom construction for some of the biggest names in pharma. They are recruiting a Site Manager to run their live sites, they currently have two major projects in Athlone and projects in Limerick & Dublin. Materials and supply are handled by the main contractor, so the role is focused on running the site: people, programme, quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Take day-to-day charge of cleanroom installation works on site, managing crews of 20–25
  • Manage supervisors and directly employed operatives across the works
  • Drive health and safety standards on site
  • Monitor quality and progress, keeping works to programme
  • Report to the Contracts Director and liaise with the main contractors site team
  • Keep site records and documentation up to date, using Procore

Requirements

  • Proven Site Manager or strong Site Supervisor experience in construction
  • Cleanroom, pharma or fit-out experience an advantage, but not essential — full training given for the right person
  • Strong personality with the ability to manage men on site
  • Good communication skills
  • Comfortable with site technology such as Procore
  • Flexible on travel between sites
