Role: Taper / Jointer / Dryliner
Location: Duleek, County Meath
Starting rate: 22.32ph
BSS are currently looking for Tapers / Jointers / Dryliners in Duleek, Co. Meath for an upcoming project.
Key responsibilities:
As a Taper / Jointer / Dryliner your responsibilities will include:
- Installing metal stud partitions, wall linings, and suspended ceiling systems
- Measuring, cutting, and fixing plasterboard to walls and ceilings
- Carrying out all aspects of tape and jointing, including applying tapes, jointing compounds, and finishing coats
- Sanding and preparing surfaces to a high standard ready for painting or finishing trades
- Ensuring all work is completed to Irish building standards and site specifications
- Working from drawings and coordinating with site managers and other trades
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety regulations
- Identifying and resolving minor installation issues on-site
Requirements:
- Valid Safe Pass Card
- Valid Manual Handling Certificate
- Previous experience as a Taper / Jointer / Dryliner or similar role in the construction industry
