Role: Skilled Operatives
Location: Dublin, Co Dublin
Pay: Starting from 23.46ph
BSS is currently looking for Skilled Operatives in and around Dublin, Co. Dublin for an upcoming project.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Skilled Operative your responsibilities will be to
- Support the assembly and installation of CLT panels and Glulam structures on site.
- Prepare work areas, including unloading timber deliveries and organising tools, fixings, and hardware.
- Assist with layout, marking out, and basic surveying tasks.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and correctly for timber construction.
- Maintain tidy, hazard-free sites and perform daily checks on tools and equipment.
- Monitor material deliveries and report any site or safety concerns promptly to the Foreman.
Requirements:
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certificates
- 1+ year construction or manual labour experience.
- Experience in carpentry, steelwork, or timber framing is a plus.
- Willingness to learn mass timber construction (training provided).
- Good English communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
- Willingness to travel regularly to sites in the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
- Manual driving licence preferred.
