Overview

BSS is recruiting on behalf of one of Irelands leading Tier 1 main contractors for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering large-scale building and civil engineering projects, ensuring works are completed safely, to programme and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage engineering activities on major construction projects.
• Oversee setting out, QA/QC and technical compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site teams.
• Review drawings and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor programme and report progress.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Maintain project records and as-built documentation.
• Mentor graduate and site engineers.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years experience on large construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong setting out and surveying experience.
• Knowledge of QA systems and Irish construction standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
