Overview

BSS is recruiting on behalf of one of Irelands leading Tier 1 main contractors for a Project Quantity Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity to manage the commercial delivery of high-profile construction projects from procurement through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project costs and commercial reporting.
• Prepare valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Procure subcontractors and negotiate packages.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts and cashflow.
• Assess subcontractor applications and payments.
• Manage contractual issues and risk.
• Work closely with site and project management teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 3-7+ years experience with a main contractor.
• Knowledge of Irish construction contracts.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Excellent reporting and communication abilities.
