An established residential main contractor is currently seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman for a housing development in County Laois. The project has a pipeline of work remaining with over 12 months left on site.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and proven experience managing residential units through snagging, handover, and final completion stages.

Responsibilities

• Manage finishing trades across multiple residential units
• Coordinate subcontractors to achieve high-quality finishes
• Drive programme targets and ensure timely completions
• Manage snagging and de-snagging processes efficiently
• Ensure homes are delivered to a high standard for client handover
• Monitor quality control and maintain site presentation standards
• Work closely with Site Management and Project Management teams
• Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on residential projects
• Strong knowledge of residential finishing trades and sequencing
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to manage multiple units and subcontractors simultaneously
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant site certifications required

Salary: €70K-€75K DOE 

Hours: Full time

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Finishing Foreman to join an Established Developer/Contractor in Newbridge finishing a residential development.

Requirements:

• A Degree in Construction Management or Trade Qualification (e.g. Carpentry) is desirable.
• 10 Years of  Supervisory Experience on site.
• Proven track record in house building essential.
• Fully updated with BCAR.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead project teams.
